Several landscape designs were developed for this practically difficult hillside site located in the farmlands of Katonah, New York. By providing multiple designs it allowed the homeowner to choose from several different design options. The main criteria throughout the design process was to provide an outdoor space and connections that would not have any large or over-powering retaining walls.  Naturalistic stonewalls, grading changes and steps were used in this hilly site to provide the large outdoor eating area.  Multiple pathways were also created to connect the beautiful waterfall, pond and swimming pool areas.  Native plant materials were used to enhance the stonewalls and patios.  Several unique gardens were developed to provide interest and character to this wonderful woodland garden that now connects the tennis court and hot tub.

Special attentions was also paid to the selection of natural wood furniture, iron planting urns and stone cast pots.  Irrigation and specialized site lighting were later incorporated to provide plush growing gardens and a wonderful night accented landscape for the enjoyment thru out the entire day.
