The Axe Castle at Tarrytown

A master plan was developed in conjunction with Peter Gisolfi Associates for the 1897 Norman style Axe Castle changing the residential use into a hotel and hospitality center. Site renovations as well as a garden and a pool complex were developed to enhance the charm that has existed on this site for over 100 years.
A new formal drop-off and entrance were also created to provide a more eloquent delivery for the various banquette affairs that occur in this majestic setting. Tennis courts, hiking trails and a life size chessboard are in the planning stages and should be completed by the year 2001.
