Mulch your grass clipping back into your lawn!!!! If your landscaper is removing the grass clippings when they mow…tell them “STOP” and ask if they could mow them over again so that the grass clippings get chopped up into small pieces and drop back into the lawn. It provides the necessary nutrience that is needed to grow a green healthy lawn. It also helps build a well balanced topsoil for your lawn to continue to grow healthy year after year. Many landscapers with use special mulching blades on their mowers to cut down on clipping removal and create a fine mulch from the grass clippings. This small changes helps build on the solutions for Sustainable Design. More solutions to come!!!!!!!
