Sustainable Design Solutions – Leave it Alone!!!!

Fall time is here and the leaves are beginning to fall.   I say “LEAVE THEM ALONE”.   As the leaves fall from the trees this year instead of raking them up and hauling them away leave them where they lye and mow them up to create a fine mulch and organic fertilizer for your lawn.  The practice of mulching your leaves back into the environment they came from is a smart Sustainable Design Solution.  It helps eliminate the need for chemical treatments for a healthy lawn, reduces noise pollution of leaf blowing equipment,  reduces the impact of a costly fall clean up by you or your municipality and helps reduce unnecessary yard waste ending up in the overcrowded land fills.  It is a smart solution for maintaining the world we live in.  So when your breaking your back raking leaves this fall …Think smart and mow them up instead into a fine mulch and use them wisley as mother nature intended.  “LEAVE THEM ALONE”
